The start of a new year can bring a lot of noise about what we should change or achieve. This New Year, New Moon Restival is an invitation to pause, listen inward and begin from a more heartfelt place.
Together, we’ll explore a sankalpa: a simple heart felt intention or vow that reflects what matters deeply to you. Rather than a resolution to fix something about yourself, it might be a quality you want to nurture, a way you hope to meet life, or a truth you want to remember when the year gets busy. There’s no need to arrive knowing what yours will be.
Through grounding Yoga, gentle Pranayama and restorative Yoga Nidra, we’ll create space to rest and reflect.
After a light lunch, you’ll have time to journal and make a vision board that gives your intention a visual home for a daily reminder.
Seeing what matters to you in pictures and words can help you remember your intention and make choices that bring it into everyday life. Vision boards work by using neuroscience principles like the Reticular Activating System (RAS) and mental priming to train your brain to spot real-world opportunities aligned with your goals or intentions.
We’ll close with a soothing sound journey and a moment to consider some small steps you can take into the year ahead.
Chair and mat options will be available. All props provided including yoga mats, bolsters, cushions and blankets.
Come as you are, wearing comfortable clothing to move in and give yourself a day to reconnect with what feels meaningful to you.
