Continuing Professional Development for Yoga Teachers.

For Yoga Australia members reading yoga related books and participating in a yoga book club can also be used for accruing CPD points. Reading and participating in a yoga book club is considered personal research so a yoga teacher needs to keep a summary of material read, preferably with ideas re application of learning drawn from the research. For books that are core to yoga, participants will gain 1 point for every 2 hours of reading. For books that are related to yoga participants will gain 1 point for every 4 hours of reading. Participating in the book club will attract points in a similar way with books core to yoga it is 1 point for every hour of the session and for books related to yoga it is 1 point for every 2 hours of the session. For more information on the CPD visit the Yoga Australia website by clicking on their logo.
