Today is World Kindness Day and locally Choose Respect Bunbury continues to share the Choose Kindness message. Their message cards ask us to show some care and to share some kindness. Last year I shared the message to spread seeds of kindness because as the saying goes in a world where you can be anything, be kind. Small acts of kindness can ripple out into our families, communities and the whole world.

The fascial system, a network of connective tissue throughout the body, is believed to store emotional experiences, including trauma and stress, in a way that can manifest physically. This happens as the fascia tightens and becomes restricted in response to emotional or stressful events, potentially leading to pain, stiffness, and limited movement. Subtle and repetitive yoga practices can help ease the tension.

We explored new beginnings from the goddess Eostre and wisdom from the heart from the goddess Savitri. Invoke Savitri's power in your life by cultivating curiosity and embracing empathy. Practising Savitri Breath brings a sense of harmony and nurturing - inhale for a count of 6, pause and exhale for a count of 6. Aim for an equal inhale and exhale while visualising you breath in at the level of the heart.
