Exploring Equanimity

Be Kind

Today is World Kindness Day and locally Choose Respect Bunbury continues to share the Choose Kindness message. Their message cards ask us to show some care and to share some kindness. Last year I shared the message to spread seeds of kindness because as the saying goes in a world where you can be anything, be kind. Small acts of kindness can ripple out into our families, communities and the whole world.

It is the International Day of Yoga this week so l It is the International Day of Yoga this week so let me reintroduce myself and tell you a bit about my journey with Dru Yoga. I came to Dru Yoga over 10 years ago after some personal troubles and stress in my life. This style of yoga focusing on slowing down, resting and grounding suited me well and I felt like I had found my tribe. I decided I wanted to be able to share the benefits of these transformational practices to others. So in 2017 I began my Dru Yoga Teacher Diploma and then kept learning with Dru Meditation Teacher training, Breath Coach training and Mental Health Aware Yoga Teacher training. This year I am about about to complete Dru Yoga Nidra Teacher training. So if you think you are too old, unfit or inflexible to do yoga take heart as there is a yoga class or practice out there for you!
